About The Position

We’re hiring a part-time Nurse Practitioner for a weekday clinical role in Plainfield, NJ. You’ll see patients, assess symptoms, diagnose and treat common conditions, and manage follow-up care so patients leave with a clear plan. This is practical, hands-on work—strong clinical judgment, efficient documentation, and steady coordination with the care team.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (APN) license
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC)
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS certification
• 1+ year of clinical NP experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and consistent documentation habits

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, take histories, and perform physical exams
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope
• Order and interpret labs/diagnostic tests and explain results clearly
• Prescribe medications and manage refills and adjustments
• Create treatment plans and provide clear patient education
• Document visits accurately in the medical record
