About The Position

The Kidz Docs, a well-established pediatric practice in Northern Virginia, is looking for a part-time (3d/wk) nurse practitioner or PA to join our group of 6 doctors and one nurse practitioner. A pediatric nurse practitioner, or a nurse practitioner or PA with pediatric experience, is preferred. Paid vacation, CME, and benefits offered. Working hours include Wed 12p-7p, Thurs 8:30a-5p, and Fri 8:30a-5p. Military family members welcome to apply. Interested candidates, please send cover letter and CV to [email protected].

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Pediatrics.
• Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric experience.
• Active state RN and APRN license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine wellness exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Educate families on child development, nutrition, and disease prevention.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
