About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join Albany Gastroenterology Consultants! The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, working closely with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals.

• NY NP License in good standing
• DEA

• Primary Care, or GI experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Work closely with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Utilize knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information to examine and treat gastroenterology patients.
• Maintain current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Obtain or be eligible for hospital privileges.
• Multitask with a sharp attention to detail.
• Perform duties accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Demonstrate exemplary patient service skills, courteousness, and respect.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining cordiality and patience under stressful situations.
• Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilize computer skills, including Electronic Medical Records and MS Office.
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA Laws and safeguards.
