About The Position

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Women's Health Care Center in McKinney, TX. This role focuses on providing individualized patient care in a clinic setting, without the demands of hospital shifts or on-call duties. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with a physician and assist in managing patient care, ensuring a meaningful experience for every patient.

Requirements

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Ability to make care decisions based on best medical practices
• One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to a year of women's health experience

Responsibilities

• See patients and provide individualized care
• Complete patient charting and documentation
• Call back patients with lab results
• Answer patient phone calls and provide education
• Send prescriptions electronically or by phone
• Administer medication as needed
• Assist the physician with scheduling patient appointments and surgical procedures
• Manage office operations in the physician's absence
