About the position

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Healthwise Medical, specializing in weight loss, IV therapy, and general health services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about holistic patient care and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and evaluations.
• Develop and manage personalized weight loss programs for patients, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
• Administer and oversee IV therapy treatments, ensuring patient safety and efficacy.
• Provide general healthcare services such as routine physicals, diagnosing illnesses, and managing chronic health issues.
• Educate patients on health, wellness, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any medical changes.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Georgia.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with experience in weight management and/or IV therapy being a plus.
• Strong patient assessment skills and experience developing treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust with patients.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty is preferred.
