About The Position
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our medical group full time in Whiting and Freehold NJ. The incoming Nurse Practitioner will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients, providing comprehensive medical care and management primarily for geriatric, sub-acute patients, including admission intake, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care interventions tailored to the unique needs of older adults. May be asked to provide care to Long Term Care/Skilled, sub-acute, Assisted Living and medical office patients as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will be managing complex medical conditions commonly associated with aging, while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and quality of life. The calls are very minimal and would be primarily from independent living and a very small, memory care household. We have Physician coverage during off-hours for the other levels of care. On occasion, a call for sub-acute, skilled nursing or assisted living may come through if the Physicians is not able to respond in 15 minutes.
