About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner at Leidos QTC Health Services will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to service members and veterans. This position involves conducting various health examinations, including general medicine, occupational, and disability health assessments. The Nurse Practitioner will work in diverse settings, including clinics, homes, and telehealth platforms, ensuring high-quality care and support for the examinee population.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university.
• Current National Licensing with ANCC or AANP.
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience.
• Unrestricted State medical licensure to perform full scope of practice in the state of hire.
• Ability to obtain DEA license and valid BLS or ACLS certification.
• Ability to pass medical clearances including N95 respirator fit test and Tuberculosis test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams for a variety of customers including federal and defense personnel.
• Perform occupational health exams including pre- and post-employment and annual physicals.
• Complete written medical opinions based on provided medical records and acceptable clinical evidence.
• Provide telephonic and virtual exams in unique settings such as homebound and event sites.
• Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Document examinee records in appropriate systems and collaborate with other professional staff as needed.
• Review and interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory tests, pulmonary function tests, and ECG studies.
