About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical examinations and care for service members and veterans. This position involves conducting various health assessments, interpreting clinical data, and generating independent medical opinions, all while ensuring high-quality service delivery in diverse settings, including clinics, homes, and through telehealth platforms.

Requirements

• Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university.
• Current National Licensing with ANCC or AANP.
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience.
• Unrestricted State medical licensure to perform full scope of practice in the state of hire.
• Ability to obtain DEA license and valid BLS or ACLS certification.
• Ability to maintain government clearances as required.
• Ability to pass medical clearances including N95 respirator fit test and Tuberculosis test.

• Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams for a variety of customers including federal and defense personnel.
• Perform occupational health exams including pre- and post-employment physicals.
• Complete written medical opinions based on provided medical records and clinical evidence.
• Provide telephonic and virtual exams in unique settings such as homebound and event sites.
• Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
• Provide primary medical evaluations including review of systems and range of motion assessments.
• Interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory tests and ECG studies.
• Document examinee records in appropriate systems and collaborate with clinical staff.
• Communicate effectively with internal and client team members regarding evidence-based care.
