About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role offers flexible scheduling and autonomy while providing high-quality patient care in a supportive clinical environment.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in of S.C
- National board certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Current malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in [Primary Care / Behavioral Health / Urgent Care / Telehealth]
- Prior independent or contractor experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal laws
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical staff as needed
