About The Position

As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric nurse practitioner care and medical treatment to members served. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities from 5pm to 8am for emergencies, for which an additional $125 per night is provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice.
• Active DEA and Furnishing licenses.
