About The Position

The Psych Nurse Practitioner at Telecare Corporation plays a crucial role in providing direct psychiatric care and medical treatment to individuals in a mental health crisis. This part-time position requires a commitment of 25 hours per week, primarily during evening hours, and is focused on delivering compassionate and effective behavioral health services in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Active PMHNP Licensure in California.
• Active DEA and Furnishing licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric care and medical treatment to members served.
• Engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and address mental health crises.
• Utilize recovery-oriented services to support individuals in crisis.
