Requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Assess patients' overall health status, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological systems.
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests, such as blood work, EKGs, and imaging studies.
• Categorize patients based on their surgical or procedural anesthesia risks.
• Develop individualized pre-operative plans, including medication adjustments and consultations with specialists.
• Provide clear information to patients and their families regarding surgical and procedural anesthesia options.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, registered nurses, and other healthcare team members.
