About The Position

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Surgical Care Scarborough is hiring an APP for their Minimally Invasive General Surgery group. This APP will work on a team of two APP'S supporting two busy physicians at 55 Spring Street in Scarborough. This is a full-time, office-based position working 4-ten hour days. When fully oriented, this APP can practice at the top of their license, evaluating new patients pre-operatively, working to optimize them for surgical procedures, and following their post operative care. MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Surgical Care Scarborough is a small surgical office that offers a fun atmosphere with all the perks of working for the largest health care system in Maine. We are looking for someone with 5+ years' experience as an APP, preferably with EPIC experience or from within MaineHealth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree required
  • Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience in a trauma setting or equivalent is desired
