Our busy dermatology department is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current national certification as an NP or PA
- Active license/certification in the State of Utah (or eligibility to obtain)

- Dermatology experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services to patients
- Perform comprehensive dermatologic examinations and assessments
- Collect and document patient medical histories, examination findings, and relevant data
- Interpret clinical data to develop preliminary diagnoses and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to manage acute and chronic patient needs
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Perform approved therapeutic and diagnostic procedures based on patient condition
- Document patient preparation, procedures, and outcomes in the medical record
- Develop and implement treatment plans for dermatologic conditions
- Prescribe or recommend medications and other treatments as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with patients and respond to questions with clarity and professionalism
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision-making
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and apply feedback to enhance performance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
