West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a fast-growing, full-service mobile wound care company dedicated to providing high-quality services and treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). The company's mission is to offer comprehensive care, treating the patient's overall health, not just their wounds. They maintain high standards for communication with partner agencies, ensure responsiveness to patient treatment needs, and prioritize continuous training and education for their medical team. The company is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver mobile advanced wound care services, traveling locally within a designated region to see patients. This specific position targets candidates living in Atlanta, GA, who are willing to drive to patients' homes throughout the Houston area. No prior experience is required as extensive training and 24/7 support are provided, along with competitive compensation. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

Current state license as an NP or PA in GA
CPR Certified
Effective communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance
Must be willing and able to drive to patient homes to provide wound care
Local travel is required

Responsibilities

Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care
Define and document patient diagnoses
Assure all patients are completely satisfied
Patient education and management
Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes
