About The Position

Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient Surgical OR – Piedmont Rockdale Hospital Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Rockdale campus located in Conyers, GA. Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week with varying call responsibilities. This position may also occasionally provide some inpatient cross coverage for other Cardiovascular service lines, such as Cardiology.

Requirements

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification and RNFA certification

Nice To Haves

Previous Vascular Surgery with operative experience preferred.
Will consider those with previous Cardiovascular experience and an operative interest.

Responsibilities

Perform OR first assist duties
Round on patients in the hospital
Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients
Evaluate Cardiovascular patients in the office setting
Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas.
Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization
