Requirements

Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Utah.
Active DEA registration and Utah Controlled Substance License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or specialty certification preferred based on departmental needs.
Strong work ethic with a high level of motivation and professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and leadership.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Sound judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills with a high degree of initiative.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex situations and represent the clinic in a professional manner.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide medical care and treatment to patients under established clinical guidelines and physician supervision.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across a wide range of age groups.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries, including prescribing medications as appropriate.
Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR and ensure proper coding and billing practices.
Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results to assess patient conditions and healthcare needs.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans for illness management.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
Prescribe appropriate treatments, interventions, and medications in accordance with clinical protocols.
Contribute to a high standard of patient care and an excellent overall patient experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
