Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Arizona (or eligibility in progress)
  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based NP or PA program (Puerto Rico programs not accepted)
  • Current or eligible DEA registration
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of primary care experience preferred
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Arizona (or in process)
  • Completion of a NP/PA Program in USA (Not Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and review diagnostic results
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses (e.g., infections, minor injuries)
  • Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient-centered care addressing physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists for coordinated care
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies
  • Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and hospital admissions when necessary
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
  • Lead wellness screenings and preventive health initiatives
  • Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education
