Work Shift Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Trauma Acute Care Surgery team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Kennestone is a level 1 Trauma center with just under 700 beds about 30 minutes northwest of the city of Atlanta. The team is comprised of 10 Trauma surgeons and 10 APPs and growing. Responsibilites include responding to traumas, rounding on trauma, general surgery and surgical ICU patients, seeing patients in the clinic, and working with surgery residents as needed. Shifts are approximately 13.5 hours and include sign out in the morning and evening. This is a dedicated night shift position. Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience preferred in an ICU, inpatient and surgical setting. For new graduates to be considered, must be an Acute Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and have completed rotations in critical care and surgical specialties. Requirements
