About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our established and growing plastic surgery practice. This role is ideal for an APP who is passionate about aesthetic and reconstructive care, patient education, and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with board-certified plastic surgeons and clinical staff to provide comprehensive care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings, as well as non-surgical medical aesthetic services as appropriate. Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Florida.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • National board certification
  • Current BLS (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent clinical judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, aesthetics, or a related specialty
  • Experience with cosmetic injectables and/or laser technologies
  • Familiarity with EMR systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment planning
  • Provide preoperative counseling and postoperative follow-up care
  • Diagnose and manage post-surgical complications within scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and skin care services (training may be provided)
  • Educate patients on aesthetic treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
  • Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on safety, satisfaction, and outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term care
  • Maintain clear, compassionate, and professional communication
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Support practice growth through patient retention and adherence to best clinical practices
