  • Providing medical care as an independent licensed practitioner to outpatient medical practices
  • Prescribing or recommending medications for patients, consulting with physicians as appropriate
  • Ordering diagnostic tests and demonstrating appropriate application of the results to assess and treat patients’ clinical conditions and healthcare needs
  • Collaborating with cardiologists to treat cardiac diagnoses and manage acute and chronic cardiac issues
  • Participate in a shared rotation of hospital weekend coverage
  • Be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
  • Have valid and active NP/PA licensure in Tennessee
  • Have current AHA, ACLS and BLS
