This key position is with Brown Surgical Associates (BSA) which is one of Rhode Island’s largest multidisciplinary surgical groups and a founding member of BPI. This position provides advanced patient care within the General Surgery division at Brown Surgical Associates. This is a full-time position (four, 10-hr. shifts per week). GENERAL SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide the surgical patient and their family with continuity of care in the outpatient setting. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will act as an integral part of the surgical service. The practitioner will also act as an educator and a liaison to other health care providers providing care across the care continuum.
