About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00 am -5:00 pm As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role on our ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to: Provide comprehensive pre and post operative care to emergency general surgery patients with varying acuity and diagnoses in an outpatient setting. Perform history and physical, post-operative visits, wound management, and develop, manage and modify treatment plans for patients undergoing or who have had emergency general surgery. Perform procedures such as: suture and drain removal, seroma aspiration, sharp debridement, and wound care. Requirements

Minimum – If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
