NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
About The Position

Our GI practice is growing, and we’re looking for Advanced Practitioners (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to support our teams in the Raleigh area and/or Wilson, North Carolina. New graduate? Experienced provider? We welcome both! These roles are ideal for clinicians seeking a stable, long-term position in a collaborative, patient-focused GI practice.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Current NC state licensure/authority to practice
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work full-time
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- GI experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and screening tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines
- Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
- Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide continuity of care, including triaging patient calls and messages
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing education
