Learn more about us: https://dhip.dukehealth.org/about-us We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Team Lead in our Adult Brain Tumor Clinic located in Durham, NC to provide overall direction and leadership for activities and operations associated with the provision of advanced clinical practice services in accordance with the hospital and health system strategic plan and objectives, internal and external credentialing and regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice standards for the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center (PRTBTC), division of neuro-oncology, department of neurosurgery. The Advanced Practice Provider Team Lead is responsible for management of all aspects of the advanced practice positions within the PRTBTC and for maintaining productive working relationships with medical staff and health system leadership. The Team Lead serves as an expert resource for requirements related to licensure, regulatory, and practice issues for advanced practitioners. Clinically, this APP will work in collaboration with attending physicians, collecting and documenting data, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering and scheduling laboratory studies and professional consultations, and providing direct patient care services. Primary hours will be Monday through Friday, day shift, with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients.
