About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at University Hospital in Madison, WI, focusing on inpatient care for patients undergoing Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy. This position is a full-time role, requiring 100% FTE with a work schedule that includes day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with 10-12 hour coverage and rotating weekends and holidays. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a crucial role in our care teams, delivering high-quality and cost-effective care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments of patients facing acute health challenges, particularly those undergoing treatments such as allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplants, CAR T-cell therapies, and bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies. You will also perform essential procedures for disease evaluation and treatment, including punch skin biopsies, bone marrow biopsies (with or without conscious sedation), lumbar punctures, and intrathecal chemotherapy administration.
