About The Position

You would enhance the continuity of quality patient care; amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team; and extend the capabilities of the medical care team. Since this is a Perioperative Nurse Practitioner role, you would be required to perform clinical procedures outlined by the individual department requirements. Overall, this position is critical in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes and improved patient satisfaction. Requirements

Two years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience required in Cardiology.
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
MSN required.
Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PAC).
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) with in 1 year from start of employment.
Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two years nursing experience in related clinical area preferred.
Additional certifications specific to specialty may be required or preferred. Refer to the specialty addendum.
