About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (Boise) and the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) are seeking a dedicated full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in cardiology, advanced heart failure, and critical care. Requirements

• A preferred 2 to 3 years of post-graduate experience in advanced practice, particularly in cardiac disease and critical care management.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician’s Assistant (PA) medical license in Idaho, along with valid controlled substance registration and DEA credentials.
• A strong medical background and enthusiasm for developing a practice that enhances our multi-specialty medical group across all communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a blend of inpatient care and outpatient clinic responsibilities to optimize heart failure management.
• Participate in the development of the Left Ventricular Assist Device program and contribute to the growing Cardiogenic Shock and Mechanical Circulatory Support Program.
• Be involved in the CardioMEMS program and contribute to our heart failure research portfolio, with opportunities to engage in pilot programs.
• Support the overall performance of the Heart Failure program by collecting and measuring key quality indicators, both locally and nationally.
• Provide direct care: assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing interventions to treat health problems, health promotion and preventive care.
