About The Position

Gastro Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their established care center in Pensacola, Florida. This role focuses on providing outpatient care in gastroenterology, with an emphasis on collaboration, stability, and support for personal and professional growth. Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Florida.
• Certification as an NP or PA with prescriptive authority.
• 3-5 years of advanced practice acute-care experience preferred.
• Gastrointestinal (GI) experience preferred.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with other providers and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consults and follow-ups from Monday to Friday.
• Perform Bravo placements and participate in research trials.
• Coordinate treatment plans for patients under physician supervision.
• Order, interpret, and diagnose lab tests and imaging scans.
• Record progress notes and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Write and refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnoses.
• Review patient results, including pathology reports.
• Perform other duties related to gastroenterology as assigned.
