Under general supervision of the Endocrinology Attending Physician, in collaboration with Hasbro Brown University Health Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, the Nurse Practitioner – Endocrinology and Diabetes is responsible for evaluation of, and development of treatment plans for the care of ambulatory patients. Assists in the care and management of endocrinology patients to include, but not limited to, history and physical, ongoing assessment and intervention, coordination of care post emergency room visits or hospital discharge. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patient.
