Nurse Practitioner – Palliative Care
About The Position
Join Our Team as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. We are looking for nurse practitioners who are committed to creating meaningful patient experiences, providing quality, compassionate care, and valuing the time spent with patients. As a palliative care nurse practitioner, you will provide patients with diagnosis, treatment, and care under the supervision of a physician, focusing on palliative care and assisting families along their health care journeys with love and compassion. Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
- Graduate of an accredited masters, post masters, or doctoral nursing program with formal preparation as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current unencumbered licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with designation as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current prescriptive authority with full DEA privileges
- Must achieve and maintain national certification in the Nurse Practitioner specialty
- 2 years experience within the last 5 years in chronic disease management/long-term care
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs
