About The Position

Sinai Hospital is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its Endocrinology practice. The role involves managing patients with various endocrine disorders, collaborating with a team of endocrinology specialists, and providing comprehensive consultative services in a state-of-the-art facility.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Maryland
• Maryland CDS license
• Computer proficiency
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Endocrinology experience preferred or extensive experience managing diabetes patients.

• Experience in managing patients with various endocrine disorders
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art endocrine consultative services.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat adult diseases with a focus on diabetes management.
• Advise, order, and perform appropriate tests and interpret results.
• Discuss diagnoses with patients, explain treatment options, and provide advice on medications, lifestyle, and dietary changes.
• Carry out follow-up appointments, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans and medications.
• Update patient records and make referrals as needed.
• Stay current on best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology.
