About The Position
Methodist Healthcare System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Cardiology team in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of cardiologists in a patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. Position Details: Conduct outpatient cardiology evaluations, follow-ups, and routine management Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Educate patients on cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
