About The Position

Competitive salary Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm EST - NO CALL, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS Full comprehensive benefits Primary role is to be a physician extender/substitute for procedures performed in radiology Assist in the performance of direct patient care services and inpatient consults Assists physician with physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries Under the supervision of a physician, develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes Procedures: central lines, tunneled catheters, chest tubes, paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial biopsies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, thyroid biopsies, fluoro, etc. LOCAL PRACTICEAND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW Thisrole primarily supports HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, a 238-bed acute carehospital, supports the community by providing specialty services includingcardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, imaging, oncology, orthopedic care,surgery, women's care, wound care and physical therapy and rehabilitation. DESIREDPROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Procedural based experience preferred, not required Current PA or NP license and certificate of authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida required Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) BLS AND ACLS certification required COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $130,000-$135,000.Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but notlimited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc.This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Requirements

Current PA or NP license and certificate of authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida required
