As a GI Nurse Pratitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you’ll provde compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients in tandem with a GI physician. In this highly collaborative fast-paced role you will assess, manage and collaboratively treat patients at our outpatient facility located at 2421 Silver Strean Lane, in Wilmington, NC. Hours are 800a-500p, 3 days a week.

Requirements

Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Strong interest in the treatment and care of patients with Gastroenterology issues
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and flexible in scheduling

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, patient-focused care to individuals and families
Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records following compliance standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
