About The Position
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical team in the Westfield PA area. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help us provide addiction and recovery services 4 mornings per week from 8-12 with the potential to provide telemed and occasional additional coverage. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care, someone who can effectively communicate with patients who enjoys working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant Program
- Active/Current NP/PA license in PA
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality patient care with a focus on Addiction and recovery services
- Engage with clinical staff on a regular basis and maintain a professional, collegial relationship with other providers, caregivers, administrators, and directors.
- Engage with patients and families during care and communicate clearly to promote understanding of treatment options and procedures. Set expectations with patients, and families.
- Attend team meetings as needed
- Documentation: Follows protocol and guidelines for documentation, billing, and coding.
- Actively collaborates with treating physicians, providers and treating groups(referrals, wound care, Orthopedists, etc.)
