We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our sports medicine orthopaedic team. This role involves working one day per week at our Richardson clinic and two days at our Dallas Clinic. Two days per week at Zale Lipshy Hospital or Outpatient Surgery Center operating room (OR). You will collaborate with one of our sports medicine surgeons specializing in sport injury cases, with responsibilities in both the clinic and operating room. Schedule: Monday-Friday, no call, weekends, or holidays. OR days start early so flexibility is needed for schedule.Veterans encouraged to apply. OR Master’s degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population. Licensure and Certification Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required. Licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board. ORLicensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing. Acute Care certification. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross based on the UT Southwestern policy for Advanced Practice Providers.
