About The Position

Clinical Associates is a multi-specialty medical practice located in the northern Baltimore suburban community, serving the community for more than 50 years. They offer a seamless system of integrated medical care, including in-house specialists from cardiology to podiatry, nuclear stress testing, and on-site laboratory centers. The practice is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with proven experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various endocrine conditions to join their Endocrinology team. This full-time opportunity does not require inpatient consults or admissions. The positions are located in Towson (515 Fairmount Avenue) and Pikesville (1838 Greene Tree Road).

Requirements

Current State of Maryland Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License
Endocrinology experience is REQUIRED.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with patients.
Proficiency in EMR/ computer skills with a willingness and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses related to the endocrine system.
Perform patient examinations.
Develop and manage treatment plans.
Prescribe medication.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals or medical facilities.
Order diagnostic tests.
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
