About The Position

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full time in Washington Heights and areas around greater New York City (Upper Manhattan and the Bronx). The incoming physician assistant or nurse practitioner must be compassionate, an excellent clinician, and is preferably bilingual in Spanish/English. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group, and the incoming provider may be assisting care within the following specialties Cardiology, Endocrinology, and/or Urology. The focus within the position is the clinical support and direct patient care for primary care patients and specialists, lab review, and prescription refills. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in NY

Nice To Haves

Prefer a PA/NP with 2-3 years clinical experience but we will consider motivated recent grads
Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Patient exam/evaluations (physical exam, review pertinent medical history/records/imaging)
Annual wellness exam
Order/review diagnostic testing/labs/bloodwork
Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
Patient education re: diagnosis, treatment plan options and lifestyle modifications
Treatments for acute and chronic conditions
Documentation- timely and accurate
Collaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient care
Make phone calls/emails as needed or required for patient care
Medication refills as needed
