The position is part-time, requiring 12 hours per week, specifically every other Friday and Saturday night shift (12-hour night shifts). The role involves clinical responsibilities such as assessing, diagnosing, and determining treatment plans appropriate for patients of various ages and conditions. The candidate will manage patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with coding and billing practices. Additional responsibilities include participating in quality and safety initiatives, onboarding new team members, and maintaining productivity and quality metrics. The position requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and an active RN and APRN license, along with national board certification and DEA registration. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry patients and equipment as necessary.

  • Assess, diagnose, and determine treatment and management plans appropriate for age, acuity, and clinical condition.
  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
  • Manage conditions based on clinical indication, evidence-based care, cost-effectiveness, and assessment of risks/benefits.
  • Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management counseling and education to patients and families.
  • Manage patients as part of an interdisciplinary team and seek consultations or referrals as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives and organizational meetings.
  • Facilitate consistent, coordinated care and clear communication among all members of the healthcare team.
  • Perform office or hospital procedures in accordance with specialty practice and granted privileges.
  • Participate in the education and onboarding of new team members and other healthcare professionals.
  • Active RN and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice.
  • Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served.
  • Active DEA registration prior to hire.
  • If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
  • Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • No experience required.
  • Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency and excellent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a healthcare team.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology and proficiency with the electronic medical record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
