About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care as well as promotes and aids in patient preparation for discharge. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach to healthcare. With this role, a 4 10hr work schedule, or 5 8hr work schedule can be accommodated.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant.
  • Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years’ nursing experience in specialty or OR.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
