About The Position

Springfield Clinic, one of the largest multi-specialty physician-owned medical practices in Illinois, is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Trauma Surgery team. Our commitment to quality, safety, service, and innovation ensures exceptional patient care for the central Illinois community.
Position Highlights:
Level I Trauma Center - St. John’s Hospital
Collaborate with a highly skilled team of 7 APPs and 6 physicians
Block scheduling with 12-hour night shifts. Primarily day shift, with rotating night and weekend coverage.
Team covers 3 areas - Emergency surgery, trauma surgery, and trauma ICU
Comprehensive training provided on multiple advanced procedures

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or a certified Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Illinois licensure or eligibility to obtain
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required upon start
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Acute Care Certification preferred for APRN candidates
• Experience in trauma, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
