About The Position

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join the M Health Sleep Medicine practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Practice Details: Provide outpatient medical care to sleep medicine patients under the supervision of a certified Sleep Medicine physician. The M Health Sleep Medicine program is a comprehensive program that employs 14 providers and 73 staff across 6 clinics and centers across the metropolitan area. It also incorporates adult and pediatric sleep health and wellness services for Fairview and the University of Minnesota primary care, specialty clinics and hospitals across metropolitan areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The PA or NP is an experienced member of the health care team who uses their advanced practice skills in collaboration with a sleep medicine physicians to provide comprehensive health care services and innovative approaches in order to support sleep wellness and to address conditions that affect sleep health. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner engages in independent decision making about health care needs and provides health care services to adult individuals throughout their life span. Performs physical and psychological health assessments, provides patient education and counseling, orders and interprets diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice, and manages acute and chronic disease conditions ensuring continuity of care for individuals in the communities served. The full-time salary range is $130,866 - $161,954 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components.
