About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Radiology at Mayo Clinic will provide comprehensive patient care in procedural, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Requirements

• 2 years' experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
• For Nurse Practitioners: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited nursing and Nurse Practitioner program, with current WI RN and APRN license and certification as an APNP.
• For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the WI State Board of Medical Practice.
• BLS certification and DEA registration required.

Nice To Haves

• ARLS certification (required within 1 year of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive direct and indirect patient care in procedural, inpatient, and outpatient settings related to Radiology.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmacological agents, and promote wellness and prevention.
• Perform image-guided procedures including joint injections, lumbar punctures, and contrast-enhanced studies.
• Assist with triaging inpatient diagnostic radiology exams and engage in fluoroscopy continuing medical education (CME).
• Coordinate care for patients receiving Theranostic treatment and work closely with radiologists and technologists on quality metrics.
