About The Position

The Division of Pain Medicine offers an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work independently and collaboratively with an outstanding team to provide comprehensive care for adult patients with painful disorders. Our growing team consists of fellowship-trained pain specialists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, residents/fellows and allied health staff working collaboratively in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In the Outpatient Pain Clinic, located in the Charlton Building, the NP PA provides specialized care by performing comprehensive assessments, ordering/reviewing diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans consisting of interventional and physical therapies, pharmacologic management and patient education. NP PAs utilize additional skills by performing minor, office-based injections and assist with management of intrathecal pain pumps.
