About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Outpatient Neurology team in Arizona. This advanced practice provider will deliver high-quality neurological care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program for Nurse Practitioners.
• Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP, ANP or ACNP for Nurse Practitioners.
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice for Physician Assistants.
• Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations.
• Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies.
• Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in performance improvement and research initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach and professional development.
