Requirements

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to determine patient health status.
  • Utilize clinical judgment and medical knowledge to diagnose illnesses and health conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions based on patient assessments, including prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and recommending lifestyle modifications.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including dosage adjustments and monitoring for adverse effects.
  • Manage and monitor chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease through regular follow-ups and adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Perform minor medical procedures, such as suturing wounds, administering injections, and removing sutures or staples.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial stabilization and care until further medical assistance arrives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical research and evidence-based practices to provide the most current and effective care.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice and maintain certification and licensure requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and healthcare outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with advances in healthcare and maintain certification.
