We are looking for an experienced APP to join our Vascular and Interventional Radiology team in Mankato, MN. The Vascular & Interventional Radiology department in Mankato currently consists of 3 physicians and 2 APPs. To assist the practice, the department would like to add an additional APP for performing image-guided procedures, inpatient consults, and outpatient clinic management. The role will provide direct and indirect patient care in procedural, inpatient, and outpatient settings across the continuum of Interventional Radiology care while utilizing the American College of Radiology and Mayo Clinic standards as the foundation for care provided. The Radiology APP will provide support to the VIR practice by: Primarily performing and assisting with image-guided procedures: Central venous catheter placement, visceral tube management (including but not limited to gastrostomy, nephrostomy, cholecystostomy), paracentesis/thoracentesis, etc. Inpatient consultation and management of VIR patients Outpatient consultation and follow-up through the VIR outpatient clinic.

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ANP.
  • Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
  • BLS certification and DEA registration required.

  • 2 years' experience preferred. New graduates may be considered.
