We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Interventional Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Your role will involve providing high-quality patient care within the Cardiology department, including ordering diagnostic tests, managing pre/post interventional procedure care. Working collaboratively with high volume interventional/structural cardiologists & multi-disciplinary team.   • Hybrid position (Inpatient/Outpatient)
  • Performing physical examinations and interpreting medical histories of patients
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and blood work
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system
  • Prescribing medications and educating patients about their medication regimen
  • Providing pre- and post-procedure care, including education & counseling patients on lifestyle modifications for heart health
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Maintaining a current understanding of advancements in cardiology through continuing education
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide patient care within the scope of practice for Interventional Cardiology
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to develop care plans
  • Participate in continuous education and training opportunities
  • Ensure patient care meets the highest standards of safety and quality
