About The Position

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role involves providing comprehensive oncology services within a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring high-quality patient care and access to various subspecialties.

Requirements

• Oncology experience is required.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty prior to employment.
• State of Michigan license required at the time of employment.
• DEA license and BLS certification, with maintenance of recertification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary oncology setting.
• Familiarity with clinical trials and research protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including specialists in Radiation Oncology, Neuro Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and more.
• Manage patient treatment plans and coordinate care with ancillary support staff.
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
